  • Kudos to the BU team and to Jim Les

I think officially I can say this now.
It would be nice if a few of those (including some who work in the media) would issue a huge, public apology to JL and his staff.

Jim has come in here, and within four years has turned the program around.
People wanted more wins--bingo, we have 20, in a year many people said we'd maybe get 15-16.
People wanted an uptempo style, and bingo, we lead the Valley in scoring, a stark turnaround from the past.
People wanted better recruiting, and we have kids the NBA is looking at.
People wanted some wins in the MVC tourney, and JL led them to the title game in a season BU wasn't picked to do much.
People wanted post season appearances, and BU gets only its 4th NCAA appearance in the last 50 years, and the first in a decade.

I hope the community and all the fine Bradley fans will support these guys incredibly this weekend. I know I will, as I am sure I will be on the road driving to Michigan Friday, as soon as the details are announced.

      I agree!

He was not my first choice but for the exact reasons you stated Jim and his staff and team have turned me around. Things are looking up on the hilltop.

Well said tornado! Beating Kansas will be a tall order, but maybe we have a "Bucknell" in us as well! But I'm just happy we're there this year, considering where this team was at the end of January!

I agree - this BU team had a great second half. Congratulations to the coaches and the players for turning it around and making this a special year by making it to the NCAA.
