Joe -- I have no real arguments, your picks are good.....but I'd give Seck a little higher than 3rd team -- he's among the leaders in scoring and also is #1 in rebounding.
He's averaging darned near a double-double in conference games 11ppg/9.1 rpg
You have Rice on the 2nd team but Seck's numbers, I think are more impressive - considering Seck also is among the league's leaders in steals, FG%.
Rice takes far more shots to get his points despite nailing some 3-pointers, while Seck gets his points more efficiently.

BTW -- did you know that Lathan doesn't even qualify for any of the stat categories in League play because he has NOT played enough games yet??
So if you are going to pick based on the NINE Valley games thus far, then is it fair to give props to a guy who hasn't played enough yet to even qualify for statistical consideration?

Also -- on your all frosh...note this...
      in NINE MVC games...
Jon Ekey ........4.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg
Jordan Prosser 5.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg -- clearly coming on stronger while Ekey is fading fast and losing PT to Wilkins
..so I am not sure what stats you are using....unless you're using the stats from Ekey's non-conference game against Wilmington...

B4L -- I'm a little scared of you right now.

T -- I can't argue about Seck. I haven't seen him enough, and that probably didn't help him in my awards.

The awards, as stated in the article, aren't just based on league play. Lathan was fantastic early in the year, and that's why he was recognized.

I respectfully disagree about Ekey fading. In his last five games, he's averaging 24.6 minutes, 5.8 points, 4.2 boards and 1.8 blocks. JP had a decent game against UE, but otherwise hasn't been doing anything for the last five or so games.
