In an unrelated incident- Bob Huggins has suspended his leading scorer Casey Mitchell (16.6 ppg) indefinitely for unspecified violations of team rules. This could severely hurt WVU's chances in the Big East.-

wow -- just what do yo have to do to get suspended by Huggins...??
When Joe Mazulla beat up his girlfriend, then got arrested for public intoxication and relieving himself on public property, then got arrested for beating up a cop...he got reinstated before the very next game!

West Virginia's next game isn't until Wednesday night. So Huggins still has plenty of time to reinstate Mitchell from his indefinite suspension.

I'm glad someone brought some sanity to the Culter injury here. Also remember that he was dealing with an undiagnosed knee injury during the game and tried to play on it despite doctor and trainer recommendations. He felt that he couldn't. There's plenty to rip Culter on, but he's been sacked over 50 times this season. If he wasn't tough, he would have quit long ago.

the twitter world suggests this is a failed drug test issue...so if their athletic code is anything most schols, there is a mandatory suspension of at least one game, usually three, so we'll see if Mitchell plays tonight
