In the last two games, the "2 Big" lineup (JP, WE, AT, & MK) has dramatically outperfromed the "4 Small" lineup:

      CU: 4S (-19), 2B (+6) = 25 point differential
      EU: 4S (-8 ), 2B (+5) = 13 point differential

In my opinion, it's hard to understand why we didn't see AT play against Evansville and MK get some playing time before WE fouled out. I'm very ready to see a head coaching change ... either in philosophy or in person. I can barely stomach watching these games when JL goes 4 small.

It also does not help that we insist on playing the same D that UNI played against us the S16 year (leave an unproven shooter JJ open to hit a ton of 3's)

For me personally, I was really enjoying the lineup at the end of the game. With the seniors and Egolf fouled out, I felt like I was watching the future, and I did not feel disappointed in what I saw.

Great stuff DB. Which bigs have the best numbers?

Lets face it, one big player on the floor does not work as the opposing team has at least 2 big defenders to stop our 1 player inside, J.P. is a freshman and you cannot expect a freshman to be exposed like that which is why I said J.P. contributes when he has help inside with another big, stats do not lie , ISU will kill us on the boards because of their size and leaping ability.

I didn't do individual +/- as I wanted to focus on the productivity of the "4 small" vs "2 big" lineup.

But, since the bigs are JP, WE, AT, and MK, the vast majority of the "2 big" combo time has gone to WE and JP as a tandem. All of MK's time (which is only a few minutes) over the last two games has been as part of a 2 big combo. AT had a little of both I believe against CU and then, for whatever coaching reasons JL employs, never saw the floor against EU.
