I think it is safe to say that everyone is frustrated. can I ask how many games those two INSU guys were out, and who they beat during that time? Not making a point either way, just wondering.

Ludicrous.
I'm not saying Kelly is there best player but he would be one of ours. I don't believe anyone has suggested we should not be worse losing our two best players. Anyone who knows anything about the game couldn't possibly think we would be better but on the other side of the coin it sure shows us how thin we our with our depth and reserves. I don't know how ISU got into this debate but I think we'd like to be heading in the direction they are. Can you dispute that?

I agree with you on the lack of depth. Kelly and Lathan a very good, but as we can see, were replaceable with other guys who appear to be just as good. Bradley has been unable to get the same production from the guys replacing TB and SM.

Hey -- I'll tell you what Indiana State did when they DID LOSE their ONE best player....

2005-2006 David Moss was injured after their 8th game of the season...on Wed. December 28, 2005....
They went from being UNDEFEATED and the #1 RPI team in the nation, beating Butler and even Indiana (who were very good back then)
and then when David Moss was hurt, they dropped 11 in a row and finished the Valley season in DEAD last place.

Everyone in the world knew why they suddenly went from a good team to a bad team..it was because of injury but some of our fans are not likely to have been able to figure that out.

At least we went from mediocre to bad.
We'll see next season I guess when we get our 2 top players back and become a contender...suddenly.
Looking forward to next fall when, for the 3rd straight season, we can say with confidence, We DEFINITELY will be a Top 3 team in the Valley...Now if Milos, Woods, or Sticks doesn't get injured, that story might change.

We said that the last two years? Interesting.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I think many of us on this board with the rose-colored glasses have probably said that. I know I've felt that way. However, the reality is that we have not been picked by the "experts" to be a Top 3 team.

I guess you can look at this with a negative or a positive spin. Personally, I'd prefer BU to be viewed by these experts as a program worthy of Top 3 respect. For reasons many on here have pointed out we have not been afforded that respect. Obviously, deservedly so.
