I didn't see the game but in looking at the box score they had 21 assists on 27 made shots...that's pretty impressive..one guy plays over 30 minutes and 9 guys get double digit minutes...that would be nice too.
Seems like Andrew waits until the second half to get going.....if he can score any time he wants I'm thinking he should start in the first half
It is good to see some scoring from our young guys.

And vice versa. It goes for the rose-colored glasses crowd as well as the poop-colored ones. Failure to present both sides is a failure to be objective.
isnt that offset by good luck?

What I took from last night's game (besides that we could possibly end up 1-17):
WL is our most tenacious player - he is not afraid to get up and defend in the opposition's face, and taking it to the rack on offense. I really like what he offers the team. Work on his 10-foot jumper and he'll be tough to stop.
DSE had a decent game, though he doesn't seem to be a solid PG. I think Walt might have an edge on him.
A-Dubb o.k. game, but couldn't hit outside shots like normal. Found other ways to score.
Our 1st-half defense was sooooooo porous (from the 12-minute mark on) - their inside-out game and passing around the perimeter gave them open looks all half. Why can't we do that? We have to force up shots more than any other team in the Valley.
I was happy to see Milos playing, albeit for 6 minutes. He was just off from making a couple 3 bombs.
JE is a good role player - we need him to give us 15 min. or so next year, but he's just not a scorer. He does the intangibles, but this season, when our scoring is at a premium, his inability to score is exposed.
WE looked worse than I've ever seen him. The prospect of him returning next year doesn't excite me - I really thought he had potential, but it's taken too long. I just don't see him breaking out and playing consistent. We basically just have TB (maybe) and JP to rely on down low for next season...not good enough for Top 3 in the Valley unless JP really improves, which he could, but we have will have no depth in the low post again, but brimming with talent at guard.
I still stand by my opinion that this team works harder than teams from the last 2 seasons. We saw in the 1st 4 games how never giving up and working hard on both ends can result in a W. I'm pleased with the players working hard despite an 0-8 record and frustration evident.

See the Bears v. Seahawks second half to explain that. Hasselbeck finished with a decent line, but the Seahawks were never in it and he didn't perform when it mattered.
These good second halves that everyone keeps harping on are a product of BU getting their brains beaten in during the first half. I don't think any coach in the valley has any desire to run the score up on a team in the second half. It is that whole karma thing perhaps. Or knowing they'll have a down year once in awhile.
This is the first season I can ever remember with so many lopsided games in the Valley.

surely you see that we all know that, however there are circumstances that others have turned a blind eye to...they just don't exist..Peoria Toyota Scion

That response doesn't hold a lot of water when you've got a team at the top of our conference overachieving without having two of their best players for much of the time...Peoria Toyota Scion
