ISU came back and cut the lead down to 4 points 72-68. ISU missed a 3-pointer that would have cut it to 1. But then a couple turnovers in the last minute by each team and 4 free throws by Drake made the final score Drake 76 ISU 68.
What is the deal with John Wilkins? He only played 12 minutes last night. He was scoreless in 5 minutes of play in the first half, then was removed with less than 3 minutes gone in the 2nd half, and sat for 13 minutes while Drake built their lead to over 20 points. He returned to the floor for the final 4 minutes but the game was decided by then. He made 1 basket lale in the game for a total of 3 points, no rebounds, no assists, no blocks.
The 12 minutes of playing time was the lowest he's played in any game this season.
Note that I commented after their last game (loss at home to Evansville) that I wouldn't be surprised if Jank reduced his playing time after the weak effort he appeared to put out in that last game-
box score, pay-by-play-
He is the most talented player Jank has, so for him to get benched for an extended stretch during the most crucial part of the game, it's hard to believe there aren't other issues going on between him and Jank.

Maybe that girlfriend he follows around like a puppy has gotten even further into his head.

Looks like some of the "experts' " predictions of "one and done" and off to the NBA were a lot of bluster and self-delusion
