  • Lamar Odom/Blake Griffin

In last night's game between the Lakers & the Clippers, in the final seconds, when Blake Griffin (18 pts, 15 reb) had led the Clips back from 12 down to beat the Lakers,
Lamar Odom tried to become an enforcer and send a message and on a FT grabs Griffin's jersey and tries to throw him off the end of the court.
As you can see in this video - especially the view from under the basket, Griffin has tremendous composure and does not fight back.
Doesn't matter anyway as the refs throw them all out of the game.

I know it's too early to say but since the Clippers came to the midwest last month to play the Pistons & the Bulls, they've gone 9-4.
If they keep up at that same pace of winning that they've had the past month, they'd finish the season with 44 wins, and that's better than half the teams who made the playoffs from the Eastern Conference last year, but it may not be enough in the west.
However, right now the Clippers are just 6 games out of a playoff spot.

Not to mention that the CLippers have beat the Lakers and Heat in the last week. Simply amazing for a team on pace to finish dead last this season. I think Griffins 26 or 27 straight double doubles is a big reason for that LOL. Simply been a monster this season, might be a top 5 overall pick in next seasons Fantasy Basketball games.

Speaking of Miami, they have now lost 3 straight after winning 19 of 20. The big 3 all have nagging injuries and may all miss tomorrow nights game LOL.

Looks like Vinny is doing a good job trying to turn around the Clippers...good for him! They have some nice pieces in place there for the future.

ANd just when they start to look like a real team....mgmt. will trade or fail to sign players and they will fall flat....again.

The Clippers might be basketballs version of of the Pittsburgh Pirates.....

Yah you can't really trade for hot prospects in the NBA like the Marlins or Tampa Bay in baseball can. The Clippers are starting to form a pretty good team as it is, they just need to bolster the bench a tad bit more. Griffin went off for a monster 47 points and 14 boards for his 27th straight double double tonight.
