Still do not understand how JE gets 25 min to JP's 12( with 4 rbs)?

I like JP and his upside, but he's got a LOTTTT to learn defensively, he's getting out-bodied and out-positioned pretty consistently. I'd still like to see him play more though, that's the best way to learn!
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

Weems was indeed very impressive. Difference maker in this game and a match-up issue for most teams. He was really taking advantage of the times Eastman had to guard him.

Creekmore with a ton of non-called elbows in the paint. Coach Martin was very vocal from the sidelines for the Bears.

A Weems-Brown matchup would be good see.

A couple of observations from me.

Our bigs are getting smaller. Either that or our opponents are getting bigger. WE, JP, and AT all look like rails. Are they lifting during the season or just running off the bulk they gained? This is a pretty big concern to me.

Crowd was thirsting for anything to cheer about. Tumblers got a standing ovation, and the crowd was BEGGING the team to continue the 2nd half run, to no avail. Band was great!

I thought Will did some good things from 12-15 feet, and his fouls were way down, but he is pretty weak around the basket. Exactly what we don't need, but he did hit some shots.

Jake Eastman needs to shoot the three.

Mo St was better, took advantage of our weak defensive fundamentals and seemingly lack of basketball IQ at times. It looked like they were doing anything they wanted.

Refs were ok, nondescript, although the bald guy was rubbing me the wrong way in the 1st half

JP seems to have hit a wall. Hopefully he gets positive feedback to help him through it.

Watched the game with a Mich St fan from Marquette, Mich. He was impressed with the arena and when they showed the Red Sea with the Braves down by 10 or so, he said the kids are having a good time and haven't given up. Told him the Red Sea is the best student section we have had in a long time. Also good to hear the fight song when MS had to call a timeout with 10 minutes left and the crowd was getting into the game. As for the game, doubt if it was the turning point because we were outmanned, but down by 6 and a long cross court pass and our guy was out of bounds seemed to stop our first run. Proud of the team tonight for their effort.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

DSE was out of bounds, but the ball was a bad pass and tipped to him. I think Weems stopped the run. He was out during the BU run and as soon as he returned, it took only a couple minutes for the Bears to put it out of reach.

I noticed a couple of recruits were at the game, with tomorrow being a state holiday.
I also noticed a player was missing from the Bradley bench...

                        Care to elaborate?

                        I'm guessing MK? Reason?

Well, this was about as good an effort as could be expected against a team of this caliber. Bradley played even with MSU for the last 35 minutes or so, but that 15-5 MSU start during the first five minutes turned out to be the difference in the game. Even with a full strength team, Bradley can't afford to even take five minutes off against what could very well be a top 25 team in the very near future.
