That is what I m saying he can not make a lay up unguarded but he can make a jump shot unguarded.

The dumb thing about our layup problem is JL has perfectly explained to us why they don't work.

      A few years ago in a coaches show talking about shooting;
      Paraphrased:
I tell players that the rim is nearly twice as wide as the ball, but players don't realize it unless they were to look straight down. A flat shot needs to be nearly perfect to go through the rim, but a high arcing shot has a lot of room for error.

      My take:
Well guess what,JL, our typical finger-roll layup or hook shot is a flat shot, it has to be perfect to go in. But if you use the backboard, the ball comes in just like a high arcing shot, lots of room for error, thus a lot of makes.....

The way he manages floor time among players on the roster may be the most frustrating thing when I watch BU. I don't see what he sees, and just don't get his thinking. The points you mentioned above, Real fan, are all legit and have been similar gripes we've had in the past with our coach. There has to be a reason we're 0-7 besides our lack of depth. We definitely have the talent to be at least 3-4 right now.
Some will argue, but if we finish top 3 next season (ha ha), then the guys we have this season will be a big part of it. But the problem remains next year with our lack of quality bigs who can take away the opposition's low post scoring and outrebound, and a coach who's willing to put 2 bigs on the floor at the same time for 35-40 minutes of the game.
I wouldn't be convinced that if TB is playing, JE wouldn't come in to fill WE or JP's spot.

AW is having POY type of year but will probably not make 1st team due to the rest of the team! Now that is frustrating!

WHAT?! Are you crazy SFP? AW is a shoe-in for 1st Team All MVC.

I would not bet on it! We come in last and there is no chance they give him a sniff at 1st team. Who was the last player to receive 1st team on a last place team in the Valley?

..Well Andrew won't have to worry about another Bradley candidate diluting his first team chances..

                  AW deserves first team...
But it is interesting..If your team finished 9th...

I know if i was a top 3 finisher I would have issue with that.

Did Curtis Stuckey make first team?

I believe Curtis was first team 89-90 and 90-91
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

If and when we do get the ball inside, our bigs are not doing something as fundamental as using the glass to get the shot down. If we hammered out some basic fundamentals, this team has the possibility to win some games.
We haven't looked to get the ball inside for the majority of Les' tenure here...

We have a hard time doing so in the offense we run sticking the 5 man 25 ft from the basket...

Thus why we also can't get anyone to want to come to BU of worth...

It's scary how bad our offense is considering we have one of the top 5 players in the entire league!
