Great talent, obviously no respectable upbringing whatsoever. I thought at the time, this kid won't make it with Weber. He'll mostly likely end up in the D-League. Bye bye.
The D-League coaches do not tolerate the kind of attitude Richmond has. They prefer team players who are overachievers to the primadonas.

Richmond has declared for the NBA Draft and said he will forego his final three seasons at Illinois.

As of today, NBAdraft.net has Jereme Richmond going to the Bulls at #43 (13th pick of the 2nd round)-

Personally, I think that is too high, and I don't see the Bulls being interested.
But I could be wrong...another site DraftExpress.com has Richmond going to Cleveland with the 1st pick in the 2nd round (31st overall)-

I don't see it. He's definitely not a fit for the Bulls, both in terms of personality and in terms of what he would bring on the court. Another year of two in college would have really helped. Great pure athleticism, but raw. He was effective at times around the basket with Illinois, most of his work down on the block, Richmond hasn't displayed the type of mid-range game to be a really effective SF in the NBA. I'd love to see the Bulls take Robin Benzing with that 43rd pick. Sweet shooting 6' 10" SF, poor man's Nowitzki with huge upside. Would provide perimeter shooting in a long frame.

A couple weeks ago Jereme Richmond was projected as a low 1st round to mid 2nd round NBA draft pick.

But his draft stock has dropped a bit.
Today NBADraft.net projects him as the 59th pick (next to last in the 2nd round).-
