They really struggle to score out of their offense. Their point guard play is not good.

Yes......but one slight difference....I don't think they're missing any players, definitely not two of their best. That's their team!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I agree. Wilkins has the skills to dominate games, especially against teams like Evansville who aren't very athletic. But he looked disinterested tonight, did not play much defense, and looked like he has never played with the ISU team before the way he was out of sync, and passed poorly (0 assists, 3 turnovers). And for a 6'9" guard (that is how he is officially listed by ISU, how he is listed in the box scores, and how he was introduced on the MVC broadcast- as a guard) with long arms and athleticism, he has not had a steal or a block in the last 5 games, and only 4 steals on the season, and only 9 assists on the season. It appears he does not like playing defense much.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jank reduced his playing time more after tonight.
Do any of the ISU fans who visit here know if there is anything going on between him and Jank? It looked a little that way to me.

They actuallly shot pretty well, but had 23 turnovers and nobody with more than 8 points.

I find it hard to be critical of another team when we are not doing any better, would rather be having this conversation with us on top instead of the cellar plus J.W. is a lot better player then at least 3 of our guys.

Went to the ISU game tonight...Wilkins looked ok to me...wish we had him...Blake Mishler looked decent as well as did Ekey...when those three were in at the same time they played pretty well..

..but my goodness the turnovers were terrible and many were unforced...those and FREE THROWS were the determining factor...

if we shut down Ryan and keep the ball from the inside...we can take Evansville

Wilkins is good at shooting off the catch, getting a good shot off from the post off the catch, and using his length on defense.

He has trouble when he is man-handled anywhere on the court and his handle needs a lot of work.

                            He would start at Bradley.
