He beat #18 UNI last year. There are times where his teams play at a very high level, the problem has been sustaining that. Last year on January 16 their season was collapsing after being slaughtered. They lost a close one at UNI after that then rattled off three straight wins, and with the exception of the two ISU games, played well the rest of the season. There are things you can call successes, if you choose to look for them.???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Yeah, you know, after 8 years, you would figure all the injuries and what not, he'd be more prepared and recruit to withstand such an issue...
But NOPE, just more excuses about buying in, not being ready, blah blah blah blah...
I'm sorry but most of us are sick of it at this point!
And the whole people trying to convert people...yeah, you can only be converted to another side if you believe in the other points...and in reality, cmon...half the stuff that retractors have posted is deleted simply because they are retractors, which leads to supporters responding in whichever way they see fit...
I mean it is what it is at this point, but this us vs them attitude is getting really old and stale!
We should all be supporting a common goal (winning) and right now that's the furthest from the truth given the posts I have seen.

I root for Bradley. I don't root for Jim Les or against Jim Les. I just prefer fair discourse. Statements like "after awhile you cannot use injuries as an excuse" make absolutely no sense, and are unfair. Rose-colored glasses are not totally objective, but poop-colored ones are worse.

We've already seen the list of qualified candidates that chitown (I think) posted. There are plenty of qualified coaches available right now. Plenty with an abundance of experience as well as plenty of hot shot assistants at BCS schools.
When I see schools like WSU, CU, MSU, UNI, ISU squared, make changes at the top and reach higher levels quicker and better than BU then I know that it can be done with the right candidate.

That means starting with a minimum $500K salary and a total package worth $750K+. This would help to attract some top assistants from BCS programs like MSU, Duke, KU, etc. Don't say they won't do it because of Glasser's salary because no one knows for sure that that won't happen. She's a smart lady with a vision and she should be smart enough to realize that Bradley Basketball is THE marquee program at BU and the straw that stirs the drink -- enthusiasm and donors. It might just happen. Yajusneverknow.

My thoughts exactly. If we commit to the basketball program in this way, good things WILL happen!Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
