  • Bulls interested in Anthony Parker

This was mentioned in another thread, but Dave Reynolds has a blog entry reporting that Anthony Parker is one of a couple shooting guards that Bulls are possibly interested in acquiring-

Dave says: "The guard has started every game for the Cavaliers this season and is averaging 9.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists."

But that's not correct. AP started the first 34 games of the season, but has not started or played in the Cavaliers' last 4 games.

    That would be nice!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

If I was AP, I would do anything to get out of that trainwreck we know as the Cleveland Cavaliers. Not since GM left Flint has one made such a negative impact as Lebron leaving the Cavs. They are trash! At last check they had lost 21 games in a row. I hope that AP does get out of there and coming home to Chicago would be great!

Well for Anthony I would hope the trade goes. As a Bulls fan though I am hoping for a little higher level of off guard. A few years ago Anthony would have fit the bill, but I really think the Bulls need a higher level of off guard to win the championship.

Living in Chicago, I'm almost embarrassed this year to say, "I don't follow the Bulls or NBA much. I'm into college basketball, especially my 0-11 Bradley Braves (well, before our current 2-game win streak!)"
The only way I'd actually get into watching more Bulls games is to have AP join Kyle Korver on 'Da Bulls. They have been my favorites in the NBA since Korver joined the league. Then I may just get interested and watch a game a week for the rest of the NBA season.

There actually ARE a few Chicagoans I know that prefer NCAA hoops over the NBA. Not many though.

The latest rumor- The Boston Celtics have joined the Bulls in pursuit of former Bradley Braves Anthony Parker. A couple Celtic guards Marquis Daniels and Delonte West, have been hurt, while the Bulls are looking for one additional scorer.
AP had 18 points and 9 assists in the Cleveland Cavaliers' surprising upset win over the Los Angeles Lakers last Wednesday.-
