    Red Sea

    Just wanted to say THANKS to the many Red Sea members that showed up (relatively strong for such a poor showing). You did GREAT and seem to be getting more organized. I was hoping you might implement some English-Style soccer chants (I'm absolutely serious about this) at the ISU-BU game? That might just help to start give us an identity that is NOT coach les, maybe some students will come just to yell and be crazy? Who knows? The benefits are endless! Anyone involved with the Red Sea, please message me if you are interested in what the tune sounds like (sorry for the language in advance, the Brits aren't that nice). Throw the words into the chants and see how you like it. Distribute it like the Dookies do, on pieces of paper! (Most of them are from Man City's arsenal, so sorry for all you United fans! ahahahaha!)

    Who's. That. Comin' Down the Highway? Who's that sloshin through the snow? It's old Timmy and his boys come to try and make some noise, but they can't get John Wilkins off the Bench!

    Who's. That. Comin' Down the Highway? Who's that plowin' through the snow? It's old Jimmy and his boys, beat the Redbirds once before, now we come down to Normal for one more!

    Bradley Fight Song

    Charge on Charge on Bradley! March Right down the field! Foes may press you foes may stress you but we'll never yield! Fight for Alma Mater! Press right through to victory! Charge on Charge on Bradley and fight for Varsity!

    Any others to add, feel free, I think I have a few more, bit distorted from the loss, but I'm sure they'll come back! I'm really serious about it! Really don't know what it could do! Let me know what ya think!

      Criticize officials and players like normal student sections do...

          Geeze, just trying to maybe shake things up. Just read that soccer fans in other countries chant because their fans live and die by the game. Re-Wrote the lyrics to center around the American idea of sports. Something for the students to have fun with in an off year yes? Maybe we get a better review on that evaluation for "Atmosphere"? Nothing good can happen if there isn't brainstorming first yes?

            It would help if the Sea wasn't relegated behind the basket near the band, but considering that it's an off-campus arena, they do the best they can.

              True, thought maybe the idea for chants would help them be recognized. As I said, I was really impressed tonight for their cheering and coordination. Maybe take it up a notch as they enjoy it. Any current Red Seaers have any input?

                All for a little soccer spirit in the Civic Center. Some of these chants, dirges and songs might be something for the Red Sea to incorporate. Would beat the "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" that we hear at Duke and everywhere else!
