After this performace I am offically done this year, cancelling my trip to STL and will not get season tickets next year unless there is a new coach in place. No offense, playing the wrong guys(JE 30+ mins), not giving other guys a chance (milos and AT), and blaming losses on his defense clearly tells me JL has either completely lost the team for good or has zero clue how to coach. This team would not be 500. right now with Sm and TB...... see ya next year.... maybe
AT could not play last night b/c of his two T's against UNI. He's shown over the last 2 years he's not able to compete at this level so JL has two options play the best players and try to win every game or play the everyone gets equal minutes no matter what middle school style game. After the INSU game JL spoke about how well his defense played said they set defensive goals: under 40% (shot 39%) and under 60 (would have been if not for late fouling). No one can seriously say this team would be below .500 w/o TB and SM my how quickly we forget the impact of those two players not only individually scoring, but their ability to attract the best defenders and open up other players.

All that said I can't pass judgement on JL right now, the season isn't over. Have I seen improvement over the last 3 weeks? No, but that's not to say things don't change. One thing that has become obvious is hopefully we have some studs coming in because our underclassmen are all above average, but I don't see any major impact players, aside from maybe JP in a couple years.

Heemy, I hate to say it, but other than the ISU game (which I will never miss as long as I am physically able) and I'm right there with you.

I went to almost every game from 95-99, moved away, and now back for 7 years with 3 young kids and a business that demands alot of me. Time is VERY short at this life stage, but I make 5-6 games a year and once my kids get easier to take out in public (youngest not yet 2) I fully intend on buying 6 season tickets (5 seats for my family of 5 and one seat for the coats).

But not until a change is made. If figure my absence the rest of this season, (ISU game not included) is the one extremely small way I can have any impact. I see no hope for the future under the current regime, therefore I speak with my pocketbook.
