I don't think we're a fifth place team this year with SM and TB, but obviously most everyone else in the conference thought so. They seem to be closer to being correct than "lots of people on here" lately, myself included.

I can also recall at least three three he je didn't get because he's just not big enough.

None of that matters though since you entirely missed my point. I don't have any problem with jake or his efforts. I have a problem with what position he's being asked to play.
First off.....I'm pretty sure I was there watching the game. If not...let me know why I wasn't at work.

Secondly.....which game did JE play twice as many minutes as JP?

Lastly......I was making my own point that one of them seems to be a better rebounder than the other and one of them seems to enjoy playing volleyball.

This is just stupid that an institution that has a President and AD that supposedly care about the basketball program have not done anything as of yet. This has been going on long enough if change is not made then we will not be in the national spotlight within the next 5 to 10 years. Rebuilding needs to happen this program needs gutted and started from scratch. We have seen numerous players, coaches and administrative turnover during the Les administration that it is turning alumni, students and fans against each other when we should all be using this energy rooting on our Braves. If nothing is done soon this will only continue to get worse and we will be looking from afar as programs that are similar to ours grow while we shrink. I don't care if it is a coaching change, a massive student athlete turnover or they change what the focus of the athletics department is but something has to change at this point to stop the bleeding and band everyone back together. I hate going to a game and seeing less than 7000 people in the stands. We need to get back to having 10000 plus at the games on a consistent basis (Yes tickets sold is what they count but fans in the stands help revenue even more especially 3000 more per game) Student involement is growing we need to make sure this keeps happening or there will not be anyone to take the place of fans who are departing what ever the circumstance may be. Please make this program better and join the fanbase back to a common goal of just rooting on the Braves instead of trying to figure out what needs to be changed. There is no more time for appologizing enough has been said we need results!

            change will not be made

This administration can not make a change right now because of JL's present contract!! You can't just buy him out with 3 years left on his deal... So we have to put up with his subborn ego for at least another year or possibly two because of the $$$$ ... THAT IS THE SAD TRUTH!!!!!!!! And we all know he is to stubborn to RESIGN and walk away for the good of the program ....

On the bright side, we're close to being able to move all home games to the on-campus arena without anyone being shut out of a ticket.

You are faulting him for not giving up 800K? That's a new one.

Yes. But here's the thing. . .we don't even know he was any good at that, either. All we know is that's what he did. There are usually reasons for people to switch careers mid-life. And it's generally not because they excel at what they do.

Yes!! He will be just fine he has enough $$ to retire!!! Besides if he loved the BU so much he would know it is time to walk away before the damage is so bad that it
                      move us to Evansville status!!!!

I did think you watched must or all of our games, but when someone leads an argument with statistics in response to an argument in which I specifically disclaimed stats made me wonder if you saw the game or just the box score. From a numbers standpoint, the season tells the tale... They average almost the same number of minutes with prosser scoring and rebounding at a better rate. Incidentally prossers during oct sticks out like a sore thumb as he's leading our team in shooting pct at .559-- Egolf is#2 at .432-- and for arguments sake jake is converting at a poor .332 rate. So I guess we should be playing eastman OUT OF POSITION in front of all frosh team candidate prosser.

Then there's the eye test. Yes eastman looks like an aggressive rebounder, yes he looks like he plays hard. Yes prosser could be a be a better rebounder. However eastman also looks shorter than prosser. Yes eastman doesn't look strong enough in the post. Yes eastman is almost hopeless on offense. Yrs eastman can't compete inside just because he's giving up height and weight all the time. Yes eastman continually fails to take wide open shots on the perimeter, instead preferring to drive into the paint where he cannot finish.

All of these factors combine to make prosser a better post player, and for a team absolutely dying to scoreANY points in the last few minutes of the game, I believe the guy with the best shooting pct on team should have been on the floor for more minutes than the other guy. Please don't misunderstand... I like jake, and I hope one day his obvious efforts will result in a more complete gane that includes offense... He's just way way way out of position all the time, and there's a much better player at the position in question available to play. So if that's eye rolling stupid if me to believe as you've implied then I guess we won't agree in this one.

Another national tv embarrassment coming up Sunday. When will it end? JL supporters are runnin for the hills!
I agree - I watch other non-BU games and it's NOTHING as pathetic as what BU runs on offense. The only time someone is open is when DSE or JE work extra hard to get into the paint and then go up for a shot and then dish it off to Pross or WE for a lay-up. Whether they make it or not is another question.
How can a home team shoot a shade above 50%?
There is little confidence on the floor - we need a staff that can bolster their confidence, run better plays, and find guys who ARE confident and will buy in every game!

I waited ALL spring, summer, fall for this season - probably anticipated it more than any other season, and now THIS??? Many on this board believed we would win 25 games - I know I have to be realistic that we've lost 2 major offensive studs, but imagining what this team would have been to what I see before my eyes - downright depressing!!!
I can't wait for 9 more months for a 50-50 chance on NEXT season being the year we return to the Big Dance. (provided TB, SM play the whole season, our recruits show us something, and Les coaches differently)

Credit to our guys for playing tough to the end - I can fault them to some degree, but it's not fair to point the finger on individual players with this team.

Remember? Les put Bradley "back on the map" 5 years ago. But I'm... looking...loooking...Nope! Can't find us again - we must have gone farther south since then. Hmmmmmmmm.
