Quote from Dallas Brave in the same thread:

"This is a great match-up for Bradley. "

I did not mean to come here and flame...not usually my style just feel like too many have not seen the Hawks, nor do they have respect for them. NO WAY does a paper in KS, KC or MO come out and bash your University because it's challenging the "Braves" as a mascot, or belittle where you came from or disparage your school. I do not care if it was meant tongue in cheek, it was in bad taste.

I have ALWAYS cheered on the MVC whenever a team made the tourney...NOT this year.
You know? You Kansas folk are REALLY wierd!!!!!!!

Gonzaga started playing anyone anywhere, then once they earned respect they started getting more teams on better sites (neutrals, home/home's)

Like it or not, it's a BCS conference world, and the MVC simply lives in it
Is Nebraska in the Big 12? well MCV's 6th place team Creighton smoked them by 26 at their place!

I gotta agree grassman. The KU posters remind me of arrogant Nebraska football fans. You know, "Nooooobody has our tradition, talent, fan base, pagentry, history etc. "If you don't see that let me quote you some stats so you can be converted".

I get it KU is favored as they should be. We think that we have a chance and more importantly that we have a right and obligation to be optimistic about our team. We are just BU hoop fans.

Now lets see if WileyKUfan starts another paragraph with. "I did not mean to come here and flame" If you want to talk to people who drink the jayhawk kool-aide you are on the wrong board.

PS. Phil Luciano can't tell you how many people are on a basketball team. It was meant to be funny. He writes colums not articals. Not even for the sports section. Don't take him or yourself so seriously.

And as noted by someone else on this board,
the Big XII's 5th place team, who some thought should have gotten an NCAA bid,
was smoked last night on their own home court in an NIT game by a midmajor.
Maybe Old Dominion should have gotten Texas A&M's NCAA at large bid?

its not like the people from this board wrote it & put it in the paper. i didnt think the column was necessary as much as you did.

Are you serious? Or are you just trying to drum up some issue to get upset about? Of course it was just tongue-in-cheek. You didn't note that I put the LOL smiley in my message about "the advantage goes to Da Braves ", and I used the term "Da Braves" in homage of the Saturday Night Live skit with the guys who are gung-ho fans of "Da Bears".

The only people here talking smack are all the KU trolls.
