Weems had a fine week but I think Carlton Fay was better and should have been Player of the Week!

Weems had a fine week but I think Carlton Fay was better and should have been Player of the Week!

I'm guessing it was competition and results combo.

Fay was good against BU and ISU, who are a combined 0-10 in MVC play. He was 2-10 FG with 3 TO against CU at home.

Weems didn't score as much (14 ppg), but had superior rebounding numbers (7.7) and steals (2 spg) and they played at CU and at WSU (the two toughest places to play in the league) and won all three games.

Fay was worthy, but I don't have an issue with Weems, given the opposition and results.
