AW has tried a bit too hard to make things happen early in the game instead of letting the game come to him. Not really his fault, as he's the catalyst of the team. Getting others involved early could free him up as the game progresses. Maybe he wants to give others a chance to get better as this season is practically a "loss" cause with a possible 2-16 Valley record in sight.
In the 2nd half, he probably was tired of waiting for others to get going, so he was thinking, "Here we Go!"
I didn't see any of the game, so just speculatin'. Drew has not really lit it up in the 1st half this season - takes a little while to get him in the groove. The bulk of his scoring has been in 2nd half as far as I can remember.

Now I'm not downplaying AW's performance..just trying to understand where he's coming from
Had AW tried to be a one man show earlier I'm sure UNI would have shut him down sooner -- like they were able to do at the end of the game. Good teams know how to stop a one man gang so AW did the right thing by trying to allow his teammates to find a flow. Jordan had the same problem early in his career as a Bull when the Bulls were losing.

Once AW realized that on one else was going to join him he put this team on his back and said "let's go". He was being a real team leader for maybe the first time all season by getting in players' faces and firing up HIS team. I hope he keeps this up as it appeared to be contagious for guys like Egolf and DSE.

        Yep - my thinking exactly.
That's great to know that AW was doing this - getting in players' faces. This has been missing big-time. Let's hope it continues.
