As silly as it sounds, and completely flies in the face of conventional b-ball wisdom, it may be an option. Maybe not 35 shots, but what about 25-30? DSE is showing signs, but there are so few options right now so let er' fly AW.

he was over 50% from the field and 11-21 from three......and all in 28 minutes....I would take that from an individual.....and/or a team

hmmm...the kid took 35 shots, and was even still shooting right at the end of the game when Lamar had a 60-point blowout lead...

Good for him, but some records really ought to have an asterisk next to them...and I am NOT sure
I'd "want this" kind of sham anywhere close to Bradley.....

In this case...- Lamar achieved a 40+ point lead with about 8 minutes remaining...
and in the final 8:12 of the game......guess how many shots Mike James attempted..
..SEVENTEEN.....so he literally launched HALF his shot attempts in the 8 minute span that his team held an insurmountable 40-62 point lead over a helplessly overmatched, sub-.500 D-III!

...and when he dunked in the final 30 seconds...he showboated, hung on the rim, got a technical and was finally yanked by his coach...

Also -- here's a couple quotes that kinda suggest this was an orchestrated effort to get the kid a record...

get the record for 3-pointers but left him in a little longer when the point

I think you taking it a little too-serious......the point of the article lefty's making is that it would be nice to get something off the bench higher than 4 pts total.....something like WS getting 42 pts off the bench against us....nobody on here is puttting the kid up for 1st team All American? For us to beat anyone AW needs to shot 30 times a games. Not to many shooters on this team. When AW is not shooting it would be nice to get the ball inside to JP.

Hard for him to get that many shots because the lack of a good screening offense, I did say the other night that unless he scores 20 or more we cannot win because we get little scoring from our bench, wish Jake was 6-7 as he would be a star because he does a better job as a forward then a guard except for his great passing skills, there is a reason why Jake is a good rebounder, he goes after the ball.

c'mon T....I honestly don't think anyone thought about that but you....I just put it up because a reserve scored over 50 pts.....certainly not how local press would write about it. Let's relax and see if we can get a road win tonight.
