I have seen him working hard though.
I started another thread and I wish I would have read this one first as it fits here....it didn't seem like we were running ANYTHING other then attack. Go play basketball boys and quit thinking.

It was a s good offensively as we had played all night. I think the guys are playing TOO scared...TOO tight and are forced to think TOO mush vs just playing an reacting.

Yeah. I didn't mean to seem as if I thought AW wasn't working hard....just that late in the game we were not running any sort of recognizable offense. Warren was standing outside the arc the whole time. I figure we might run something for our best shooter, but we didn't. I figured we could run him off screens or something....it would maybe get him open or maybe free up someone else.

We just passed it around...and then someone drove the lane.

I see what you see Dogs. We might be the least confident and least fierce team in the Valley. When we put up shots, you can just tell that most of our guys are hoping that it goes in by some sort of luck. Even AW seemed that way last night after he missed some. When the opposition is more fired up and less timid than us on our own floor, there is something wrong. For me, it's evident.

DSE scored all of his points in the last 3 minutes of the game as he just drove to the hoop and got lay-ups, fouls, and sometimes both. I bet he had 12 points in that time frame at least.

Completely understand...that's the fundamentals of rebounding. However, the effort by AW to get to a loose ball that he had a clear and easy path to was not there. Really I can't harp on him, he worked hard all night long trying to get open looks and put this team on his back. And he led us in rebounds if I'm not mistaken. He did have a rough shooting night, but that'll happen.

You see that alot...a guy has his weight going into a guy and he pushes his opponent along with himself too far....that is where you should have another team mate step in as you as the defense should have people in better positions...right?

              blahmmm

well they won't have to wait long since those lines are dwindling.....someone said a few of the restrooms weren't even open for the SIU game....that's not typical of a BU rival

One thing I noticed that CRACKED me up. Walking through the concourse at halftime, maybe one or two people at each line of the concession stand, except the Braves Club "express" line, which had at least 6 in it. Now, I am not a smart man, but either A) those people are dumb, or 2) they want to be noticed as members of the Braves Club.

I didn't know they had an express line till now.

It's like my weekly trip to the EP Wal-Mart. . .the lines in the outer "Express Check-out" lanes are always backed up (many times with people well over the item limit) but by taking just a few extra steps, many times you'll find 2-3 non-express cashiers in the center open with nobody in line, just gabbing away.
