Ya think. Drake can't get here soon enough and I'm not sure we can beat them. I'm thinking maybe 1 to 3 wins at the most and I'm thinking closer to the 1.

This team struggles mightily with the mid-range jump shot. If I was coaching and needed to change things up like this team needs right now, I would put DSE on the bench or move him to the point and put DD on the bench and start MK at the 2. I am interested to see MK play more simply because we need an outside shooter to go with AW, especially when AW has an off-night like tonight. If the guards are going to drive to the rim, they need to learn how to dump off to the big guy cutting to the basket rather than always trying to throw in a prayer or draw the foul. My two cents ... and maybe that's all it's worth.

My friends keep texting during the end of each game asking if this is rock bottom. I hope it is. When the BU crowd expects a ragtag team coach by Chris Lowery to dominate, you know it is at a low point.

The season is getting away from this team.

I do think we're a healthy senior point guard away from 5th in the Valley, to be fair, but this team is now rudderless. This is probably the worst defense I've seen out of this team in a very long time.

It's quite possible N-USC is going to become our only RPI Top 200 win this season.

SIU is a bad team, it only means that we have 0 hope for anything good to happen this season , we have hit an all time low as far as fan appreciation goes, it has been a long time since it has been this quiet in the arena, I always go to St.Louis but will not drive and spend more money on a bad product, we have some good players but they are being held back by poor coaching( my opinion as far as bad coaching but this team would not be losing like this with good coaching)

We might as well try it. Unless his effort or attitude is so bad in practice that it is impossible to play him. I don't think it is possible for our zone defense to be any worse so what would we lose.

I really don't have a problem with playing 7 guys like I think we did tonight.

After tonight I think I have finally flown the white flag of despair on the Les era. Sorry.

Let's say BU does finish with 2-3 wins and 9-10. Does JL say I came here to do what was best for my alma mater and it's just not working. You know he sees the stands and understands how low fan enthusiasm is right now. You know he wants what's best for his players his school so what are the odds he steps down and saves face and after a few years comes back as kind of a CB role on the radio and in practices. Maybe it's a stupid thought just crossed my mind.
"How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal, and you have to be willing to work for it." - Jim Valvano

                      If he plays Emm Kay
It will surely make the Jank
                      Much more difficult

I feel good about JL turning this whole thing around and us winning out, no play in game this year.

Well if we are only winning 3 more games this year (in reference to the Molinary season in the pre-game notes). Please let all 3 of those wins be vs ISU red (reg. season and Thursday)

I do think that if AT or WE were as good as Prosser is now during their 2nd year here, we'd be doing much better right now...

I'm afraid I have to agree with you on this one, though I will say that I think Les is a decent X's and O's coach, and I know he is a good coach due to the fact he had some great teams about four or five years ago. The problem is the lack of fundamentals. I don't know what's being addressed in practice, but it's not working, and that goes back to the coach, right or wrong. And maybe our recruiting is not as good as advertised. We do get some great players, but we need more pieces that fit into place. At the very least each player needs to be assigned as defined role on this team, something that seems lacking here.

Man I don't know about that. Who is really being held back or restrained from showing what they can do. Personally I think we don't have enough good players. Someone's offense numbers might improve by shooting earlier in the shot clock but we really lack shooters. Our defense and rebounding would not change much.

Well one person is responsible for bringing players here. Plain and simple.

We had better players when we didn't have facilities. How ironic is that?
