Max Bielfeldt getting a lot more recruiting interest

Real fan- did you see Matt Shaw in high school? He was not an outside shooter in HS or in his early career at SIU. He attempted only one 3-point shot his freshman season, and was 0-1. He shot a few more his sophomore season (he made 26 in 33 games as a soph), but then the number of threes rose each year (43-123 as a junior, 52-162 as a senior).

I do think Max will become a more perimeter player in college, just like Shaw did.

Matt Shaw was a 15 ft. shooter and did not play inside with his back to the basket, these guys are not the same type of players plus Shaw is much quicker, I am not knocking Max as he is a different type of player and is having a great year, just do not understand why he is being talked about so much on the Bradley board when he is not considering BU.

It's because our team is losing so badly. We're obviously starved for something positive.

Max had another good game again last night. 30 points and 16 rebounds against a bad Richwoods team. He will have a good college career. A team that runs a patient/structured offense and does not depend on players athleticism to create plays would be a good fit. If he can learn to play the 3 position he could be a stud for the right school.

yeah I went over to watch. he seems to put the ball in the basket no matter what is angle is or who is hacking. really strong.
