OK..I might do that if I can sit up in the chair longer. Thought there might be a few that weren't in the room that wanted updates the ole fashion way.
Wichita State's big men were the difference. They have 4 big guys who rebound well, and can score inside and out. And again, Bradley's lack of a true point guard really hurt the offense.
Flu.....I tried golfing the other day when it was 58 in Peoria.
1st miss since 86.....
58 and you got sick? I played yesterday in Mesa and it was 44 and breezy. Watched the game on ESPNU tonight. Called Vince at halftime and told him I hadn't heard you yet.

Point guard or not, I think our complete lack of an inside game, offense and defense, is the difference.
PEORIA, Ill. ? Bradley senior guard Andrew Warren (Indianapolis, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit Prep) scored a game high 26 points but it was not enough to help the Braves (6-7, 0-2 MVC) get their first conference win of the season as Wichita State pulled away midway through the second half for a 79-63 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball victory Saturday night at Carver Arena.
Did you watch the game? I don't mean that in an insulting way, but I thought all three bigs (AT, WE, and JP) played solid games.
I didn't take it as an insult, but a layup here and a free throw there doesn't make for a solid game. Lets hope they improve over the season and their careers.

Ill have to agree with Chico, while JP had a decent line and WE didn't foul out. Watching WSU's bigs control the game.....well I really miss our bigger, stronger, faster days...

Our bigs did play a solid game. I thought AT may have played his best half as a Brave in the first half. Prosser also looked good in the early going.
Unfortunately, we had 2 problems:
1) WSU made the necessary adjustments to change the course of the game, and
2) Their bigs were just that much better than ours.
Can't fault our guys' effort. They tried but were just out talented and out coached.

good point on outcoached, but in Ls's defense, his bench is so weak, there wasnt a lot of in-game adjusting he could do. The refs wanted to control this game...never seen so many ticky tack screen calls in my life, but Les should have told the kids what to do to avoid the third and fourth and fifth offensive moving screen calls. nothing worse than a foul AND a turnover in the same play
Nate Wells was at the game with his mother and father.
There was also another recruit (2012) at the game.
I saw them in the VIP section with who had to be Andrew Warren's parents, and unrelated I believe we also had a Chuck Buescher appearance at a BU game, for maybe the first time this year?
