  • Wichita Players

I was strolling the streets of downtown tonight and saw the bus with the Wichita players arrive at the Pere Marquette. No big deal right? About a half hour later, I walked by and there was a kid, track suit and all, checking out Big Al's next door! lol
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!

Ha! Well if he's 21 he can do what he wants.

Do you know who it was? Are you sure it was a player and not a fan?

Through the years, Big Al's has become a legendary place to the players in the MVC. I have never heard of anyone getting into trouble there, but I have heard stories of a lot of players from MVC teams in the past who have visited there.

He was looking for his Dad!

I dunno who it was. Can't tell. Pretty sure it was a player. He had his official warm up on. I think Big Al's was closed, though.... odd on New Year's Eve. He was looking around the building kind of sheepishly like.... "should I go in?" haha

Apparently it didn't affect the team's performance this evening.

Didn't we go to the Sweet 16 the same year as them? We didn't lose our coach either.

There was the bench player who was wearing the old school Gray warmup he must have been hurt. Was it him? or do they all have those?
