This is a scary game for many reasons...but I think WS is for real and do some major damage in the Valley this season!

Keys to Victory: (More than usual)

      1) Like last game, force more turnovers than we commit
      2) AW & DD - 45% or better FG.
      3) Make 80% Free Throws
      4) WE plays for 25+ min.; 5+ rebounds; 12+ pts
      5) Keep rebounding margin close (within 5)
      6) EVERYONE contributes and plays smart!

(Start praying today for a miracle to happen tomorrow!)

If we play like we did against Detroit, I think we've got a chance to win this one. We're basically playing .500 ball now for a couple years, win, lose, win a couple, lose a couple...so there's no reason why we couldn't win this game. We've won our last two home games with them, that's as far that I researched. We need good guard play, there were one or two pivotal plays in the first half of the ISU game that would have kept it from being a first half romp for them. And keep trying to work the ball inside. Go Braves

Do not give Wichita St. open 3 point shots and Will needs to play more minutes so he cannot commit stupid fouls, shoot the ball well and you always have a chance.

I've heard that Kyrie Irving is not expected to play for WSU tonight.

That's good news - he didn't play for Detroit when we played them a week ago, and we won that one.

Oh, by the way, I've heard that tonight's game is the most important game in JL's tenure.

BTW- Duke's Kyrie Irving still has his foot in a hard cast, and it scheduled to have it re-examined next week.-

Duke fans are optimistic, but other reports are expecting him to be done for the year.

When you look at their schedule and who they've beaten and the good teams that barely beat them it is scary.

If they beat us, and win one more game, I think they will be ranked in the top 20. In fact, if they win by 20+ at BU I think they will be ranked.

Was the last time they were ranked playing in Carver the game Boogie essentially ended their season (although I think they lost the game befor us, too) with that monster isolation tomahawk dunk?

I would like to apologize to the fans, players and coaches for my being a lazy reporter last game.

BU would be favored today with SM and TB! Possibly ranked too!

Considering they are only 7 1/2 point favorites, I'm guessing there will be a LOT of rich people in Wichita later tonight!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
