He has to get a degree so he will not arrive until 2012 -2013 season.

Ha JC's Hoops knowledge is as far from Milos's

as Milos's Hair Gel knowledge is from JC's

Just what all BU fans want to hear - Just wait until 2012, then we'll get 'em!

Knowledge? How about overall basketball ability? Again, no comparison.

I was all in favor of moving to recruiting 4 years players, but that's proving to be a mistake, especially with bigs. It may be time to go back to the JUCO philosophy if this regime remains intact. 9 years has shown this regime can do well with JUCO bigs, but can't develop 4 year big men.

Kind of why I wanted to get Leon Powell, he could have helped us this season.

Doesnt BU have 2 players... Thompson and Eglof who are in their 4th year at Bradley? My thinking is one or both graduate and they move on because of graduation.

Milos is stuck behind Eastman who is a better overall player and I am guessing here is more consistant in practice.

What is the story on Davis I take it sticks is better than him that is why he hasn't gotten any playing time.

Are any of the players we're talking about as good as anyone we had before the Sweet 16 and before the facilities were built? I thought those two things were going to fix everything and allow us to recruit and compete consistently at a higher level.

I said that when we got Wells. And a lot of people jumped all over me. The way I see it we wasted a lot of money

OK bu fan 9, I'm not saying I disagree with you, but for some reason I felt like I read this post before. Looking back at your previous posts, I have read it before. WE GET THE POINT!

"Monmouth Bradley fan you are right. Just think we have another project coming in next year."

"Unlike most people on here I want players not projects."

"We use 3 or 4 on big men projects thar never works but everyone likes that. With one more on the way."

"I don't understand why we keep milos and sticks around when they can't play.Just think next year we will have Sticks,Milos,Davis, and Wells and sitting on the end of the bench. You can't win that way..."

"He can join Milos,Sticks, and Davis on the bench next year."

"That's right our normal big man recruit has schools like WIU and Army after them so why not get a local project."

"If AD was any good at all they would not of redshirted him the staff knows they need a big man and if AD was better than sticks he would be playing."

"Matt salley was only about 6-7 and he the job done better than any of our bigs since. When Sticks is ahead of AD that should tell you something."

"We are not interested because we only take projects for big men."

"Real Fan I agree with you about our big men not getting any better. That is why I don't understand why we got another big man project with our last ride instead of a point gaurd or a shooting guard"

"I said a month ago when we got a big man project I wanted a shooting guard instead but everyone on here was ok with a big man."

"Our bigs had 9 rebounds in 64 min."

"I want a tuff kid inside I am sick of all the soft play. I would love to have kids you are talking about but I would even settle for a Matt Salley type player."

"JP is the kind of big men we should be getting not projects."

"I agree JP will be fine. I was talking about Nat Wells,Andrew Davis. Everyone knows we need a big man and a shooter next year with our last ride and we take a project I just don't understand it."

"What do people expect from our post play? When we recruit projects for big men I don't know what people expect."

"Benintor you are right that is why instead of taking a big man project I wanted a shooting guard in a bad way or even a point guard with our last ride."

"What I am saying is we have spent millions of dollars to upgrade recruiting and we have 3 projects as big men in Davis,Sticks,And now Nate I don't understand why we spent all that..."

"What was the purpose of building everything then if everyone like recruiting projects? When I give them my money for the project the told me it was for purpose of ramping up are recruiting."

"We a roster full of projects for big men Andrew Davis,Sticks, and now Nate Wells. I am sick of projects."

"I am sick of 7 footers that can't play."

"I dont understand this move at all another project. What are we going to do for a shooting guard next year?DSE,Lemon<and Eastmen are slashers not shooters."
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I'd say WL, RA, DS, JP, AD, and SH have that potential. TB and SM are some really good players that have come in recently. Facilities probably had nothing to do with that though. What more do you want? First JL should recruit more 4-year players, then more JUCO's, then magically get all the best big men in the country who are not projects to come to Bradley University.

What's interesting is the JL critics call themselves "realists" and that all the supporters are "apologists" yet all the critics think we should get great big men who aren't projects to come here....how realistic is that? Bradley is going to have to take projects and risks! That is how it is. At the time I think any of us would have taken AT, MK, WE, AD. There is/was no way to know how they'd turn out.

Also the criticisms of AD and NW are unbelievable. It's one thing to criticize a coach, it's another to criticize college players the way some people do and I've been critical of WE at times myself. But It is even another thing to criticize guys that haven't even stepped on the floor yet!!! Who says AD cannot be just like JP and step in big time next year? JP played behind Sticks last year just like AD is this year. Just cause he is not playing this year, does not mean he doesn't have great potential. I've read some pretty nice things about him and his ability.

If Nate Wells ever reads this board, I apologize to you. I for one am excited about the person/player you are going to be at BU. The kid just started basketball and seems to be taking great strides every time I read about him. Give him a couple years, and at 7'1 or potentially taller, I'll take that risk!
