I'd be surprised if they win at BYU. New Mexico and UNLV are also very good and are difficult places to win.
By the way- what is San Diego State doing playing Division III Occidental Colllege Friday night? That would seem to be a weak team for a preseason exhibition game, but for a Top 10 team that is 14-0 this late into the season, it absurd- http://www.nctimes.com/sports/colleg...29adb7dc4.html
Agreed...tough conference to run the table in---can't remember...is former Michigan Fab Five coach and ISU alum Steve Fisher still the coach out at San Diego State
While Ohio State is still undefeated and Centenary is still winless, there was something I wanted to point out that caught my eye. A few posts up, on January 2nd, the University of Central Florida was one of the 7 last undefeated teams, and I believe they were ranked inside the Top-25 for the first time in school history. Well since January 5th, they have lost 7 straight games and are sitting in last place in Conference USA. What happened?

It looked like they should be one of the top teams in the CUSA. It is a bit mysterous what happened. Their losing streak should be 8 games, except their game at CUSA leading UTEP on Feb. 2 was postponed because a winter storm knocked out power in El Paso, and the arena did not have power or heat.
They are still getting good games from Marcus Jordan and sophomore Keith Clanton, but nobody else is helping much. Heralded juco transfer Dwight McCombs, who Bradley looked at and passed on, has been a total bust. The 6'8" power forward who averaged 22 ppg and 13 rpg and was the #4 rated juco player in the country last year is averaging just 3.6 ppg and 2.9 rpg.
A big win for Depaul 79-76 over Keno Davis and Providence, as Depaul breaks several big losing streaks with this win. They break a 12 game losing streak, a 25 game Big East Conference losing streak, and a 29 game road losing streak.
This has got to feel good for Depaul, but you also have to feel for Keno Davis who drops to 3-10 in the Big East and 14-12 overall. Fair or not, the hot seat for Keno is getting hotter right now!
Been some changes. Some teams have finally won a game... and some have finally lost.
No more Undefeated teams.
However...
Centenary gets off the schnide BIG TIME tonight. They not only pick up their first win in conference games, but it's their first win over D1 and NonD-1. FIRST WIN! And over Jim Molinari's Western Illinois Leathernecks. And I don't wanna hear the injury excuse.
UCF (University of Central Florida made it all the way to 14-0 and was even ranked at #25 one week..then the whole season went down the tubes...
Wonder what happened???
After hitting 14-0, then promptly lost their next 8 games, then struggled the rest of the way winning only 5 of their final 16 games....
today they lost in the opening round of their CUSA tourney to East Carolina 75-60 to end the season 19-11, 6-10 in CUSA
