Man! I must be REALLY jaded because I kind of liked what I saw tonight. The Braves convinced me tonight that they CAN compete in the MVC this year.
Don't worry...if thats what you saw...great. We all see it differently. While I saw SOME good things we beat a horrible team by 9 points. Of course the entire MVC is down so who knows.

Dogs I agree JP was one area I liked. That was two bad teams going head to head and JS was worse then us. I agree the MVC is down this year but I think we will get a good idea if we can compete on the 29th. Hope I'm wrong but I don't really think we can. Thought ISU blue looked pretty good against Purdue. We'll see on the 29th.Go Braves
Not the prettiest "W" I have seen but did like some things:
1: Prosser played great and if that continues that will be a plus
2: JP, WE, & AT had 21 points-that is what we have been saying we need all along-though we still need more rebounding from them
3: We started a bigger line up and it wasn't all bad
4: AW and do I need to say more
5: WLjr is a stud but wish he didn't try to be so flashy
6: They played 30 minutes of very good "D"-they still need to ass that other 10 mnutes
7: They played hard all night and for the most part never took a play off
As far as Detroit we will see if any of this carries over-They are a big athletic team
Hey, at least we didn't win by 2 in OT. Just sayin'.... lol
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

But they did lead by double digits most of the night. Even with the sloppiness at times, they showed they can dominate a team when they want to.
But PLEASE learn how to finish a game! Enough of the missed free throws at the end of games, even ones where the game has already been wrapped up!
At this point anything better than a EIU sleep walk is an improvement. Just glad to see a W.
If WE doesn't learn how to stay in the game on Wed night, we're losing by double digits. Detroit has a very good big we'll have to deal with. Beat Detroit, and I'm optimistic again.
Detroit has not lived up to expectations thus far. They lost to all the good teams on their schedule, lost at home to an Akron team that has not been impressive, and also lost at a mediocre Western Michigan team. If BU doesn't beat them at home, expecting anything better than a Thursday night date in STL will be expecting too much once MVC play starts.
