Nice guys....great grad rates..hard workers for sure.
We had 2 players on the preseason all-conference teams (TB and SM), and we have the leading scorer in the MVC (AW).
It's funny how when some posters want to blame the coach, they tell us we don't win enough considering we get good talent, and when they want to blame the players they say we just aren't real good.

Two players that were on the preseason all-conference team won't be playing tonight. This team is really bad, and there are better things to do tonight. I may be back when conference play starts, but it gets depressing watching Bradley play right now.

      Also Bears > Bradley basketball.

My prediction following the game is "Where was the crowd?!" and "Where were the students?"
I can do all things through pasta, which strengthens me.

Missed layups are nothing new this year. That's been happening for many years. We just don't have the dunkers and 3 point shooters that masked the problem in the past few years..

As DiOrio mentioned to JL (last week) make 5 more layups a game, and our record looks much better.. JL did say they've added full contact layup drills with punishments for not finishing, so well see if that helps at all....

Wow, all that talent heading into the season, yet we were picked to finish 5th in a league that is a bad as it has been in 10 years...hmmm...wonder what message that is sending out about our program?

I see that we've got 2 very talented freshmen, a couple sophs whose game will come around in a matter of weeks, and a big (WE) who we have seen can play when with the right mind-set & toughness.
Still waiting for DD to play well in a game, but many of you think he's an all-around solid player. Add to the mix a couple Valley 1st/2nd teamers who are injured.
Still think we're in the Top 3 talent-wise in the Valley. Just a matter of puttin' in together. Hopeful about tonight (like I am going into every non-Duke game )

Gosh just agreed with you...now gotta go back to the good side...

This is a college program...Coach gets all the credit and the blame...the big salary, the public firing...Comes with the deal JL knows that

              And ER makes a point...

3 players in the top 10 and picked 5th is a league indictment of something that is not right.

Could be coaching, horrible players from 4-13, or I guess effort.

BU has been mediocre, and makes it hard to stomach when its getting worse.

That said, I don't think this season has been much fun for you either

Just sayin'. The talent is either good or it's bad, the critics can't have it both ways.
You, dru, and ER just showed that's what happens.

And of course, I'd rather see wins. But I am a fan, and I'll be at the game tonight supporting the team.

That at full strength we are basically average, somewhat solid, but not spectacular. We'll steal some wins we shouldn't, but so will our opponents from us. Pretty much as it has been every year since the 1950s with the only exceptions being when we had an over-achiever turned future NBA player on the team.

Remember the Oakland game a couple years back? In that junk tournament that we finished second in.... AGAIN? That crowd that saw Chris Roberts hit his 3/4 of the floor miracle buzzer beater only consisted of about 5,000 Peorians (Including Me! ) That was a tournament semifinal and that only drew 5,000... Granted, it was a junky tournament, but still.... I go to every game I have the chance to go to, but I'm skipping tonight to watch DA BEARS hopefully take home the NFC North title for the first time since '06. I estimate 5K or less.
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

                      Guys...the opponent is terrible....

be fair...if it was someone good, attendance would be better.

I agree we have SOME talent just not enough to beat the EIU's and Quincy's of the world.

Seriously we "hear" about all conf. and all this and that every year but when you look up its Friday, 2:30 and I'm in St louis again.

I've seen terrible opponents and still seen the place sold out. Can you say ISU.

A cash-grabbing post-season tournament that no one cared about.
