As the King of the Bluegrass Tourney progresses...it's getting some really top level coverage with the premier recruiting services sending guys to cover it and do premium writeups..

I will have more on this later on my blog...

but suffice to say that the scout.com writer who'se been there all week has already anointed Remy Abell as the best player there...

Here are just a few tiny comments..from Evan Daniels, the most senior and knowledgable recruiting analyst they have..

...despite numerous BCS caliber recruits playing there in Louisville......
"it was Bradley signee Remy Abell who scored at will and led his squad to the
    championship."
"Abell, a 6-foot-3 guard headed to Bradley, began to impose his will ....He
knocked down pull-up jumpers and floaters, as well as a three-pointer. Abell
seemingly scored at will on his way to 30 plus..."

Eastern will play for the King of the Bluegrass championship on Wednesday.
    The finale tips at 7:30."
(this will be 6:30PM tonight Central time)

coachdude...to highlight....what's buried in all those reports..

That Remy's team went head to head with Chane Behanan and Bowling Green...
Behanan is a 5-STAR, TOP-25 Louisville signeee...and yet --Remy dominated that game...

"Behanan, a 6-foot-7, 260-pound forward was an animal inside.
Behanan was all over ...and scored at will in the paint.
He finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the half...third quarter was a different story.."
..Early on it was the Behanan show, but slowly Abell, a 6-foot-3 guard headed to Bradley, began to impose his will on the game.
        Abell is a terrific driver
He knocked down pull-up jumpers and floaters...
.. Abell seemingly scored at will on his way to 30 plus in a win over Bowling Green."

in the very next game Behanan had 40 points, 17 rebounds, and was described as dominant...but in a post game interview dodged any comment about the game they lost to Remy's team saying..
duh...they just didn't "play up to their potential"...

        Here's more on Remy..

It was standing room only as fans packed into the Fairdale High School gym to see the #1 and 2 teams in Kentucky battle for the crown of King of the Bluegrass. The J-Town Chargers jumped out to an early eight point lead in the first quarter despite foul trouble by Zach Price forcing him to ride the bench. Lyonell Gaines of Eastern had a putback in the closing seconds of the first quarter to cut the lead to six, 17-11. The Chargers scored five quick points to open the second quarter and stretch their lead to 11. At the halftime break, J-Town had extended their lead to 13 with a score of

With 7:02 remaining in the third quarter, J-Town opened up their largest lead of the game, 18 points at 38-20. But just as Eastern looked as if they were done, they went on a 10-0 run over the next 1:30 to cut the lead to eight with a score of 38-30. At the start of the fourth quarter, the margin was 7 points in Jeffersontown's favor, 51-44. A Harry Cross field goal put J-town up by 11 points with 4:40 remaining in the game. With 2:03 left, Remy Abell sank two free throws to cap an 8-0 run by the Eagles and make it a one possession game at 61-58. After two missed free throws by Eastern that could have cut the lead to one, J-Town went on a tear scoring eight straight points in 45 seconds. The Jeffersontown Chargers defeat the Eastern Eagles 69-61 to become the 2010 Canfield Development King of the Bluegrass Champions.
