Just thought I'd let everyone know, Dylan Sparkman again posted a 20+ point game last night. 23 points. Him and Kelch combined for 46. Hmmmmmmm, and BU recruited a guy that's 7 foot that averages how many ppg again? hmmmm

who? 20+ against who? Come on tell us what you really mean. Do you you know the type of character our 7' is! I know right off the bat that our 7' will represent the school with a ton of class. You might not care and few other guys here will give me grief on this but I take character into account on who we recruit and luckily so does the people that make those decisions.

Are you suggesting that Dylan Sparkman (East Peoria) is a certain D1 player?

I have heard BU has scouted him. Does he have any D1 offers?

Limestone minus Donovine Stewart. They DID hang tough for relying on him so much! Final was 78-68. He hasn't got any offers from DI schools yet (as far as I know), but he has been heavily recruited by several DI coaches (don't ask, I can't remember). It's hard for him to get offers, though, because East Peoria hasn't been the best this year. It seems like we might be coming back, though, so I'll wait and see. He has PLENTY of character, and he would represent the school very well. Probably one of the nicest kid's I've met. Never had any academic problems or problems with the coach. Never missed a game because of Taylor Brown-like activities *ahem*. I would be surprised if he has to settle for a DII school.

He's about 6'9" or 6'10", with a big body- I would estimate close to 270 lbs.

This report says he is 6'10"-

He has played for the Peoria Irish AAU team-

Have you read anything about the young man? Do you know what he wants to study? I know the same amount about a guy in Davenport, IA as a guy from Peoria. Have you heard of the INTERNET?

                      2 thoughts:

                      1. Good players will be found. The 7 footer committed to Bradley has not been on a good team, though they seem to be turning the corner this season. Coaches do most of their recruiting over the summer anyway.

                      2. Did anyone see Sparkman at the ToC when they played @ Washington? He was going back and forth with the opposing crowd and threw a fit on the bench after after fouling out. I don't know the kid personally, but from that episode I noticed he is quite the character. Not quite the same thing as having character.

I never said anything about Dylan, good or bad. You were throwing Nate under the bus as I recall in the first post in this thread. "and BU recruited a guy that's 7 foot that averages how many ppg again? hmmmm"

So may I ask you, how well do you know Nate? I thought so!

In his last three games the guy BU has signed averaged a double-double against better competition than an already weak Limestone minus Donivine Stewart.

Well, I suppose I did. haha It's been a long week.... oh well, just trying to generate name recognition for him. Couldn't stand to see him playing for anything less than a DI school.

@ 45, I didn't hear anything about that. If he did, the crowd must have done something really bad because Dylan usually doesn't let the crowd get to him. That and he's a center and was the leading scorer for EP for most of those early games, which is NOT how it should be and he knew it. If anyone throws a fit on that team, it's Kelch.
