  • Hawaii Fight Song

Don't know if this has been done before, but the Hawaii fight song sounds almost exactly like the BU fight song! I watch Hawaii football and noticed it a few weeks back. Is it just me?

... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

Someone should post a video of our fight song on YT! Can't find it! By the way, on the topic of fight songs, why don't we do what other college's football teams do and put the words to the fight song on the scoreboard when it is played so people can actually sing! I know it, but I know few others who do.

Possibly time for a new BU fight song?

Not as peppy as the current version, but, given the current state of the program.....

        Apologies to E.Y. Harburg....

        Somewhere, in the MVC standings,
        way up high.
        There's a land that I heard of
        once in a lullaby.

        Somewhere up in MVC standings,
        jumpshots are true.
And a defense that you dare to dream
        really does come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
and wake up where Valley losses are far
        behind me.
Where 2nd half deficits melt like lemon drops
and the FT percentage is at the top
        That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere up in the MVC standings,
        rebounders fly.
Players can jump up over the rim,
and dunk in a blink of an eye!

If other Valley teams can be,
        up in the MVC standings,
        Why, oh why can't we?

Here is the University of Hawaii fight song with the lyrics included-
Hear and sing-a-long with the University of Hawaii fight song "Co-ed" Go Warriors!

          and another one-
Co-ed. This'll help you guys to learn the lyrics to sign along at the games...

It has only one verse that is repeated. It's similar to the Bradley fight song, but there are differences. A lot of college fight songs sound very similar.
I can't find any reference of who wrote the Hawaii Fight Song, or when.
Does anyone know who wrote the Bradley Fight Song and when?

The Bradley Fight Song (aka The Bradley Loyalty Song) has 2 verses. It was formerly posted in Wikipedia, but does not appear to be posted there anymore.-
          From Google cache-
