  • Kid transfers and find loophole...

he leaves UMass, and goes to New Orleans....so since they're going to D-II, he can play the rest of the season right away...
then he can transfer again to any other D-I and also be immediately eligible starting next season!
--thus he gets out of where he is even tho he's unable to play academically ..
but can play immediately at New Orleans, then reopen his recruitment and go anywhere he wants and play the following year!

Gee, that unnamed college coach sure wasn't tampering at all with a player at another university.

but this transfer technique could have also been used by guys like Blake Mishler --
he could have gone there, finished playing his sophomore year, then came to ISU for his junior & senior years -- look for other kids to try it if the opportunity presents.....

now there's word that after a couple games the NCAA has ruled he has to sit out and can't play at UNO..
..until they decide what to do next...

using their recent logic -- they should delay any penalty 'til next year or beyond

Don't you hate it after calling UNO, the guy before your final turn drops the Wild+4?
