Thus far, the only Valley team that has gotten a new addition in "mid-season"....hasn't been helped that much -- (John Wilkins)
as they've lost all their road games and lost every game to any team whose RPI is better than 177....and plummetted to the lowest spot in RPI in the entire Valley!
I know BU has a bad RPI, but missing three starters has a little to do with that....
Painful to see a full strength Missouri Valley school (ISU) get their schedule rated at 327th in D-I and their RPI >> 250...and keep in mind the only game saving that team from having a 345 SOS was the one they did not schedule, as it was part of the MVC/MWC setup..

We can poke fun at ISU all we want, but at this rate so far for them and us... I can see us playing them on Thursday night in the MVCT.

Apparently helps some on this Forum pass the time until next season when BU may deliver on the high hopes everyone has for MVC and MVC Tourney Titles, and a return to NCAA/NIT Tournaments.

Unless of course, TB and SM can't come back next year, or BU's latest batch of bigs aren't the anwser, or we have to wait a couple more years until BU has an experienced PG who can compete in the Valley, or, other BU players go down with injuries, or, players' shooting %'s don't improve as hoped, or, or, or, or...

OR, man, ISU's RPI stinks and they haven't played anyone. Killin the league.

Your post was trying to point out that JW's addition hasn't helped since he started playing, and one of your reasons was that we have lost all our road games.

JW hasn't played an away game yet.

IMO JW has been a spectacular addition, and is really starting to come into his own. Struggled in his first two games, but in the last 3 he has gone for for 10 poins per game and 6 reboundsper game. Vs Ohio he had 4 assists and vs UIC he had 3 blocks.

He still needs to get stronger with the ball. His perimeter shooting has been decent not counting the UNLV game, and it feels like he still is figuring out everything. We can't wait until he finally does.

but Ekey was doing pretty good -- and JW will take away his time...
if Ekey was a starter and now sees he has to play behind JW the next 3 years -- I don't think he's gonna like it..

Ekey is amazing. He's a guy that the fans already love. His leaping ability and instints are elite. He needs to get more comfortable on the offensive end with the ball in his hands, but if he does...

Kool-Aid alert: IF either JW or Ekey can play comfortably and consistently from the perimeter then ISU could be scary good.

A line-up featuring Carmichael, Ekey, and Wilkins could be ok.

Now we need to find a couple guards

When you can't say anything good or should I say don't HAVE anything good to say about your OWN team...attack someone else.

                An ISU Red herring......

Someone wake me up when this nightmare is over.

Wilkins helped last night with 13 points and 8 boards. On the year he is avg 8 ppg and 6 boards.

Ekey started last night and played 37 minutes. Along side Wilkins.

We started a redshirt freshman (ekey), 3 sophs (clark, wilkins and carmichael) and a sr (rubin).
