DSE had said earlier that he hoped to be back for the Valley schedule.

Though he's struggled early on, this is tough for BU to play tough for 40 minutes. Just not deep with 4 guards and 2 bigs to go around, as MK and AT see very little floor time.
      Recover quickly DSE!

Hard for BU fans to wait so long between games. Nevertheless, here's what I'm looking for next game:

JE to shoot a couple from outside. I don't think he shoots enough.
AW to start off quicker than last 2 games (scoring wise).
Aggressive play from WE & JP
Guards grabbing boards like we did vs. Duke
Better flow offensively & taking quality shots
      Making the bunnies!

Hopefully, we don't go down to the wire with JSU - let's get a 10 pt. win!

He is getting better and there is an outside chance he plays Mon. night but more then likely plays against Detroit, we need him ready for Ind.St. but I think he needs to get a game under his belt so that he is not rusty when the conf. season begins.

Where did you hear about this real fan? This is good news if he comes back for the Detroit game, as we'll need him after a short rest.

I know things could change or the situation could evolve......but
he stated flatly last night on WEEK that although he's practicing,
he had no plans to be back before the first MVC conference game

With him not playing so great and Dodie running the point just fine, maybe the lay off will actually help him and maybe they should keep Dodie on the point after he returns?

Something that hasn't been mentioned much is that this also helps out Walt with more PT and I think so far he has done well with that.

They had better keep Dodie at the point. He deserves it after the way he ran the team and handled Duke's pressure. If Les plays anyone other than DD at PG for the majority of the game I will have serious questions about him as a coach! It was so obvious on so many levels that DD is the best PG we have right now...... Don't mess with a hot hand coach!!!!

I guess my instincts were right, good for him to get some game time play before the start of the conference season because we need him .

Glad he got a few minutes...

Still hoping they keep Dodie at the point...

He's done an outstanding job so far

No reason not to keep Dodie at the point, DSE can help just as much off the bench like he did last season.

We'll need a resurgent DSE and what I have seen of him he'll be back to what we were expecting. DSE will play significant numbers this year in backing up DD at the point and playing the 2. It was good for him to play last night before conference play starts. I also believe we have not set him up this year in playing to his strength. He plays a mean pick and roll and what I'd like to see is him and JP paired up on screens. Last year he played off of SS, who slow as he was, knew where to go.

DSE will be fine, the offense has changed with our guards screening more so we are not using the pick and role so much from our bigs, I just think Dyricus has tried to play to fast and just needs to slow down a little and make better decisions on his passes which I know he will, he just seems to be trying to hard.
