Correct me if I am wrong, but did you get the idea that they are defining the strong point for SIU as their DEPTH.
They spend 1/2 a paragraph talking about how Chris Cornelius is going to help them both on the inside and on the wing.
But Cornelius may not play at all this year.
Then they throw in some discussion about the extra depth Acquah, Armstrong, and Bone give them, but Acquah and Armstrong will probably only get garbage minutes, and there's lots of talk on the Saluki board about Bone redshirting.

What that leaves, then is only two bench players who have more than 9 mpg experience.

That's hardly any more depth off the bench than BU has, and BU is being labelled the team who lost the most.

good points. bu has more depth than siu which is over-hyped. will enjoy watchng the braves beating them again.

        Hope you are right Flip.

        SIU looks awfully good.

Gotta be a thorn in UIUC's side to know they won't be the best team in the State 2 years in a row, behind MVC teams both years (after coming off their Championship appearance).
