  • Wichita State wins big

The only MVC team in action tonight- Wichita State easily beat Alabama A&M. Murry had a great game, and the Shockers owned the boards 43-21-
    Alabama A&M 49
    Wichita State 71

The Shockers have won despite two bad games in a row from their scoring leader David Kyles, whose per game average now has dropped from 16 ppg to 12.8.

I think the Shox are the only team with a chance at an At-Large bid.
They would probably need to win @ LSU & vs. Tulsa, go at least 14-4 in conference - they'd be in good shape provided they don't collapse in St. Louis.
Their only losses were to #4 UConn and #10 S.D. State.

Now that's how you take care of business! Bradley needs to do the same against Jackson State......... I think they will.

Keep in mind -- the first nine games BU has played have all come with relatively little rest and preparation time between games...

the longest stretch we have had so far this season, was 6 days -- but that 6-day stretch came after we'd played five other games the week previous to the 6 day rest -- and in that game, on the road, we did play very well in the first 30 minutes, the ran out of gas on the road at WCU...

Against Jackson State we'll be coming off a 12 day rest, and I think we'll see a completely different team that'll play well.....

And if they play poorly, there will always be the "they were rusty from having so much time off" excuse...so you're covered either way...

Exactly! We now have more excuses for losses than active players on the roster.
              ...OH! That's another excuse!

There is absolutely NO excuse for losing to a Jackson State University! If BU loses to JSU, EIU, and Quincy AT HOME in the same season then Bradley Basketball is just irrelevant!

Ahhh yes...I knew if I refrained SOMEONE would have my back.

These guys are in shape....3 in 3 days or 1 in 7...doesn't matter. The ONLY reason we will see a "different team" is because we are playing Jackson State.

Not because Coach Les is saying good things about turning the season around with a new blueprint for success?
Is a 5-guard offense in the works?
Joking aside, I did see some good things in the Duke game which I hope carry over to next Monday and beyond.
Good rebounding, WE gettin' tough, intensity.

With all due respect what is the coach...or ANY coach supose to say when you are struggling like we are and HAVE been for so long?

Its all about results and actions for me.....we SHOULD look better against JS NOT becuase of anything mush more then its JS.

Now IF it carries over to Detroit and into the conf. season...YEAH.
