Braves Club Luncheon & Raffle Tickets Available
PEORIA, Ill. - Tickets for Bradley Braves Club Men's Basketball Game Day Luncheon's along with tickets for the annual Braves Club Raffle are available for purchase through the Braves Club. The first of three Game Day Luncheon's will be held Wednesday, Dec. 22 at the Michel Student Center and the Early Bird Drawing for the Braves Club Raffle will be held later that evening during halftime of the Bradley men's basketball game vs. Detroit. The Dec. 22 luncheon will feature Bradley men's basketball head coach Jim Les along with Detroit head coach Ray McCallum. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. with the program scheduled to begin at noon. Seating is limited and tickets for the 2010-11 luncheons are $20 for Braves Club members and $25 for the general public. Raffle tickets purchased before the start of the Dec. 22 home game against Detroit will be eligible for the Early Bird Drawing which will be selected at halftime of that evening's contest. The final raffle drawing, which features a $25,000 top prize, will be held at halftime of the Feb. 26 game against Drake. Tickets are $100 and available through the Braves Club Office at (309) 677-2667.
The second luncheon of the year is slated for Wednesday, Jan. 26 and will feature both Les and Illinois State head coach Tim Jankovich prior to the first round of the annual I-74 rivalry which will be played later that evening at Carver Arena. The Feb. 11 luncheon will feature the 2011 Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame class which will be inducted at halftime of BU's Feb. 12 home game against Evansville.
