I guess I took it diffently then most....first I think we must remember that these articles ar written for the general populus that DOESN'T view bradleyfans.com.

Also...he pointed out that BU goofed up when they moved the kids to the end zone vs lower bowl side seats.

He also points out how a good student section could help revive the blue hairs....

Now where did I see him rip the current Red Sea that DOES show up granted a "props" to those that do would have beeen nice.

Yes WE all know the student section is lacking with props to the red seas for trying.... I still wouldn't take it as a shot at anyone in particular just maybe some preemptive thinking to get the ball rolling on how we could get more kids there....

Last sentence dogs -- "It would be nice to see BU's so-called "Red Sea" student section live up to the name. "

That sounds like a rip to me (and obviously to some others, as well).

I understand and it does SOUND bad but, and this is just my opinion, is that he was talking about those NOT there...not those that faithfully do attend.

IMO, the Red Sea needs to pre-emptively get to students before the Greeks. And that will be next to impossible to do, since probably 80% of the students are strong-armed and shepherded through the recruitment process before they even have a chance to adapt to and enjoy college life.

Utah State has the best student crowd of any college, IMO. Even much better than the Cameron Crazies. It gives them a great tremendous home court advantage. Try clicking on some of the other video links in the right column of that YouTube page, and see more.
They are undefeated at home this season, and rarely lose at home.

A real student section would figure out how to pull this off at ISU:

For the next home game Braves player introduction, I suggest we find a suitable Moses to lead the basketball squad down the aisle, with the Red Sea on each side, leading the players to the promised land of the Carver Arena basketball court. Perhaps Coach Versace or Stowell can bring their staff. If not them, I bet Dogs would do it.

Also, I apologize in advance for any unintentional insult or offense I might have caused for Christians (for edging a little close to blasphemy) and non-Christians (for having been excluded) by my post. Also I would like to extend an extra-special apology to any Native American Indians who might not appreciate the name Braves being associated with ancient Biblical figures, even if it was meant in jest.

Let's not forget here the plastic booze available at Carver. That probably draws people who would not go to a BU game to begin with.

At those prices....IF people are just going out for a cocktail I doubt the PCC is their Bar of choice.

If you want to get the Braves Crazy ala Duke, then give them fire water.

More you spend on season tix, the more free beer you get at a game. Deal?

...That's the real reason the blue hairs don't stand at games

The real reason us blue hairs don't stand from start to finish is because we aren't students and that is their thing and I appreciate that. We stand when it's appropriate such as the National Athem, until the other team scores, or longer if that's what our PA announcer would ask, when there is an exciting play, or when the Fight Song is played. I've been to arenas all over this country and I've never seen the entire crowd on their feet the whole game. As I've said many times before, if it wasn't for us blue hairs the Braves might still be playing at the Armory.
What part of illegal don't you understand?
