  • Donivine Stewart update

Donivine Stewart was the only Bradley recruit who's team played last night. Limestone lost at Morton in a Mid-Illini Conference basketball game 83-73.
    Donivine had a game-high 33 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals.

very interesting...Donivine scores 33 and has a stat line that looks better than those we've seen lately for Anthony Davis at Perspectives...
And -- he helps his team score 73 points, generally enough to win just about any high school game, except...Morton gets 83!

I kinda feel sorry for Donivine and Coach Sparrow -- they appear to simply not have the talent to go with Donivine.

Great game Donivine, how will Limestone be without him next year.

They have plenty enough talent to win 2nd in the Mid Illini so they should do well they in league play. The only team that is clearly better than Limestone is Morton. Limestone has to do a much better job on defense. Good #'s for Stewart against the best team in conference despite his 29 shots. He should have several more monster games like this one because they play several bad teams.

They will fall back to the middle of the conference or further. That happens when the schools all time leading scorer moves on. Sparrow seems to "find" players every year so unless that changes........
