He never said that. He said that the figures would be closer if tickets were counted the same way at both schools.

He did say something very close-

You do know that if we counted our attendance like Bradley does, ISU and BU would be very similar in #'s.

I don't want to speak for mel, but I'm betting he knows that BU has better actual attendance #s. amk said that mel has made statements where he stated ISU gets more butts in the seats. Good luck finding that quote.

I agree that he never claimed ISU gets more than Bradley, but he did claim the actual attendance numbers are similar, which I would take issue with.
Bradley has never had anywhere close to 4,027 actual fans in the seats for a regular season home game for as long as I can recall.

And if I wanted to dedicate the time that some ISU fans seem to, I am sure I could parse all the posts on the Redbird board and find a few inaccurate statements about Bradley as well.

It's pretty simple math. We had less than 300 students at the game last night. We have just over 3000 season ticket holders that are students.

That's 2,700 people that weren't counted last night that would have been counted at the PCC.

And that doesn't even take into account regular and corporate season ticket holders who didn't show last night either.

I know what you mean, but I don't think it's quite the same.
I don't see any Bradley posters lurking over there policing and refuting their inaccuracies.

I'm having a hard time believing BU's "tickets sold" attendance has been "very similar" to 6,700 in some time.

You can "believe" whatever you want to "believe". I've done the math before here and other places. If you don't think there was another 1K no-shows last night among non-student season ticket holders, so be it. You add that 1K to your 6,700 and now we are getting to very similar #'s to what Bradley averages.

And Da Coach as long as people post in a respectful and civil way, all is welcome. Mike Radigan has been posting on our board for years. I doubt he would tell you of any "issues" he has had. And why do you have a problem with people clearing up inaccuracies ? Especially if it's done in a civil way?

OK.....you're right......isu's attendance is indeed "very similar" to that of BU.

I guess you just have more no-shows than us, and according to some that's not a good spot to be in at all!

Point being those empty seats you see at RBA are ALWAYS full at Carver. The lower bowl there looks like our upperbowl on most nights.

At this point in the season for the Valley, it's pretty much every team for themselves. The Valley is a definite 1 bid league with the potential team only being the winner of the MVC Tourney. So it's good that ISU lost.

He's learning at an incredible rate and showing why you always spoke so highly of him a few years ago.

As for Ekey, he isn't playing because Wilkins is awesome and Lewis leads the league in rebounding. Our concern as ISU fans is that we don't see lineups with Jackie-Wilkins/Lewis-Ekey on the floor. Jank has mentioned that we might have defensive problems, but I don't see it. Ekey locked up Chace Stanback of UNLV who is the best player we will see this season; 3 blocks in 7 minutes in the first half.

My solution, along with others, is to play Ekey more at the 3 and a 3rd guard less. That would mean taking minutes from Rubin, Clark, etc.
Seems like the rotation has Wilkins and Ekey playing together and Mish joning them..like Mish's work...he gets after it....the other rotation seems to have Lewis and Carmichael together......
