It would be nice if we could get students like that back on the hilltop. But thats what the Red Sea and I are trying to do I am excited to be down here to see what a student body section really is.

I hate to say this but it is a lot easier to do when you are winning. I know when I was at BU we had great student participation but we were winning. I suspect it will take a bit more with today's students. It is not impossible but creating a program of positive reinforcement will go a long way. Have fun and be safe!

Everything will fall into place when Bradley makes runs in the postseason, just like Duke. I've accepted that the student body, for the most part, does not give ad darn about the sports on campus. They'll hop on the bandwagon like they did with the Hawks.

I've heard Coach K demands a lot from the Crazies. He'd probably demand that the Red Sea get 500 students camping out, waiting for the game day bus.

“It’s a great community-builder,” Goldenberg said. “Most of those who camp out aren’t even avid basketball fans, but they do it because this is one of the few places that offers students a true shared experience."

            Interesting.

but 80% of Duke students never see a game because the tickets are so limited....
