Source: Duke's Irving doubtful for Bradley
Duke's star freshman point guard Kyrie Irving suffered a toe injury in the second half of their game Saturday against Butler. He limped to the bench and came out of the game, but returned to the floor minutes later and appeared OK. He finished with 21 points, 17 in the second half.
But a source has reported that he missed practice Monday, and is now in a walking boot and will undergo an MRI to further evaluate the injury.
Irving, who some analysts rated as the top high school player in the country last year, has been sensational for the 8-0 Blue Devils so far. He is averaging 17.4 points, and 5.1 assists.
