In the last game before beginning fall semester final exams, Bradley will face its toughest task of the season Wednesday when the Braves visit defending national champion and #1-ranked Duke in a nationally-televised game from Cameron Indoor Stadium ... Bradley opened the season with four straight wins, but the injury-depleted Braves will be trying to snap a four-game losing streak against a team that has won 18 consecutive games overall, 23 consecutive contests at Cameron Indoor Stadium and 81 consecutive non-conference home games, the latter streak dating back to an 83-82 loss to St. John's Feb. 26, 2000.

I remember watching Duke's last game vs. Butler when Kyrie Irving needed to be helped off the court in the 2nd half. He came back in later in the game but lost a little bit of spring in his step. The announcers speculated that it was just a cramp. Perhaps it was a little worse.

A few years ago when we played in the EIEIO and I was trying DESPERATLEY to find any positives out of the games I did like the fact we were playing in Virginia (I think that was it) and some people that may have never heard of BU got to see us, learn about us and we ended up putting a pretty good whuppin on em.


It was going to be bad enough at full strength but we just might have been able to make a respectable showing.

Now we most likley walk away leaving a poor impression or at least not making the knid of impression we'd all like to....
