    Just some thoughts...

Not much JL can do with this team. They simply arent good enough, minus the sammy and taylor. This lack of depth has been present much more than its not.

It is quite the debacle when two of the teams top 3 players are getting awards from some goofy academic thing from the President. I have to suspect most programs in the country, at least good ones, aren't going to have injured players getting awards at halftime instead of being in the locker room

I did question Coach Les saying we held em in the 60's but needed the 50's. While it is accurate, that display of free throw shooting was as awful as I can ever remember a winning road team having here, at least in number of misses. We should have lost by 20

When does a player who continually misses shots, just become bad..

Finally, for all that gets said about me I love this program. The amount of fans that had left, when we were within 6, less than a minute to go...was scary.

I still think he should run nothing but layup and free throw drills until the team is blue in the face. He would nothing to lose doing that. And besides, we win maybe two of these last four games if we make the easy layups and free throws that have nothing to do with missing our two best players.

We may be a .500 team at best without our top two players, but at least don't be losing games because we can't get points with the clock stopped missing free throws, or because we turn the ball over 20 feet away from the opposition! These are things that can be fixed even without the best players playing.

And what does our play say about our depth, or lack of it. I thought this team was built to at least somewhat withstand an injury or two. Apparently not, AW and DD notwithstanding.

It's very painful to watch or listen to from afar...seems like things are looking pretty ugly all around. Given the current situation, I think BU will be fortunate to win another non-league game and I highly doubt we'll be able to win more than six in the MVC.

To me, the #1 issue is the lack of development of the big men. Egolf and Thompson both seem like great kids but I doubt we can win with either. I am just shocked that, at the very least, they aren't better rebounders. Rebounding is about 95% positioning and desire. These guys have height on their side so what in the world is going on?

Prosser, on the other hand, shows some signs of life and needs to be on the court even more. I'd also pull the redshirt off Davis and just put him out there. Get the two frosh playing a lot together now and building for the future.

Personally, I would try to get Milos in there as well. Man, for Milos to not get on the court at all, his defense must really, really need work.

SRW Just being on this site says you love BU MBB. Ignore the critics, comes with the territory. Your opinion is your opinion as long as it is honest and supported with your reasons.

Fans leaving in Peoria early is not a new phenomena....Win or lose, there is always an early stampede to the exits by families with kids and I suppose older folks who want to get home in time to see the 10pm news or by 9:30pm to watch Jepoardy/Wheel of Fortune reruns, or, listen to the full post game wrap up by WMBD....
