  • Milos vs Jake

Milos struggling adapting to college game? Should Milos just transfer? Any preference to Jake because of his dad?

  • #2
When was the last tme Jake even took a shot? He was so aggressive as a Freshman, now? TO.s and fouls!
DSE. 1 for 7 tonight. Are these 2 in a Soph. slump?
He has not been the DSE we saw last year, nor even the High School DSE.

DSE is going to have to adjust to PG.....its a lot of pressure for a kid who is not a natural PG.

I can't understand why time and time again Les and Snell both comment on him being a lights out shooter in practice, yet he never sees the floor. IMO, this team is seriously lacking in shooters at this point and Milos needs to see the floor to take some pressure off of Andrew. Even if his defense is subpar, you have to score more than the other team even if you hold them in the 50's or 60's.

Milos should transfer. We are now playing walk-ons in front of him. How could he ever expect solid PT here?

The world is full of practice "lights out shootersssssssssssssssss' Its what happens when the lights go on that counts!
Big Mike, Are not most College PG's former HS PG's? Does that mean they all fail, because D1 is "tougher than High School"?

In the real-world.....DSE is not a PG....he wasn't one much last season and gets thrust into this spot soph year...maybe he will get better....but it is not his best spot...he is a legit 2 guard.....he tries to do way too-much at PG and it cost him...even you can see he is not comfortable running the show?

I'm not disputing that. I think he's shown flashes of what he could be given the right opportunity though. For example, last year against Loyola Chicago he had 11 points on 4-5 shooting in the first half, Bradley led by 11 at the half. If my memory serves correctly Milos sat the whole 2nd half, why I couldn't tell you, but BU lost the game. He needs a chance to play through mistakes because at this point we have no other shooting options besides AW.

Agree. We needed some shooters tonight. No matter who was playing defense tonight, Utah made easy shots or were fouled.

You are correct and once again people are making posts about a player that they have no knowledge of his past, DSE seems to be trying to do too much and is just forcing the issue, not worried so much about him as he will figure it out, watched Jake in warmups and he still does not appear to be shooting the ball good, unfortunately he stuck that 3 point shot in after the foul was called which would have been a good confidence builder for him, Milos not playing at all is not a good thing for him with all the trouble BU had scoring tonight.

Maybe its just me, but Dyricus seems a step or two slower than last year which could be caused from the added weight of putting on muscle over the summer. He doesn't seem to have that first step that helped him get by guys last year.

Hmm DSE seems fine on the step, it's just his jumpshot that's off and his high turnover rate. He can't just drive to the hoop every time.
