  • More on the Duke Game

I found this on ESPN today in the rankings for Duke's No. 1 Description:

What Happened: Wiped out Oregon in Kyle Singler's homecoming and rode Kyrie Irving (31 pts) to a win over Michigan St. What's Next: A national title rematch with beat-up (lol) Butler in Newark and a potential bloodbath with beat-up Bradley in Durham.

Well, at least we are getting national attention for a day! Also, I saw a couple more things on ESPN.

Found a comment (all of three for the BU-Duke Conversation! lol) "Duke 106, Bradley 62" A fairly good estimate, would be happy to score 62 on a Duke team! lol

    Also, stats are surprisingly close(ish).

    Points:
    BU-Warren (17.9)
    Duke- 2 With 16.9. Rebounds

    Rebounds:
    BU-Warren (6.0)
    Duke- Plumlee (8.7)

    Assists:
    BU- Maniscalco (4.3)
    Duke- 2 With (5.6)

Obviously Maniscalco won't be there, but if WE gets some good fouless minutes (Should with big school referees who allow some roughness on the flooro) we could get up to 7 or 8 rebounds from him. If we shut down one of their two 16.9 ppg shooters, both would be great (like at the USC game) and WE, DSE, AW, and Lemon step it up, we MIGHT just give them a run for their money. On top of that, it's so loud at Cameron Indoor, the players might not be able to hear Coach Les! LOL! jk..... Wow, that was bad. Let me know what ya think!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

For those who care, we got a blurb in ESPN Insider basically saying Sam is out for the season, and pretty much saying we're screwed

I think you shouldn't watch the game as you will feel very sick after it.

@ Veve, hehehe wishful thinking is allowed right? lol I've been sick over this game since the start of the three game skid, actually before it! hahaha It's been a long time since I looked at the stats, so a bit of SLIGHTLY good news helps me stay true to the Hilltop! lol Personally, I predict a 30-50 point blowout, much like the Richwoods-East Peoria game last night. Ugh. NOT a Great Night to be a Raider! lol

Yeah, but you have to pay for that! lol Who is going to pay to read about us this year? Or any year that was NOT during the tourney in 06? lol

ummm, well I have it on an EXCELLENT authority (I know a few kids on the team) that he was getting mouthy and argumentative with his dad (otherwise known as the coach) early on in the game, so, he pulled him from the rest of the game. Can't WAIT to hear from my source how practice went today! lol If you missed it, Crotz also drew a T in the 3rd or 4th quarter. NOT a good night....

Oh, for those of you who don't know, I believe that ISU signed Kelch to play baseball for them.
