The Kirk Wessler BU Laundry Song (apologies to Don Henley)
I make my living off of Bradley BB news
Just give me something, something I can abuse
Some people love it when JL loses
They love dirty BU laundry
Well I coulda been a newsman but I wound up here
I just have to look good, I don??™t have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
Give me dirty BU laundry
Kick them when their up
Kick them when their down
Kick them when their up
Kick them all around
We got KW, a sympathizer, writing all his jive
He can write about BU injuries and upsets with tears in his eyes
He gives us hope when they don??™t try
He saves us all from dirty BU laundry
Can we film their practice
Have they bought in yet?
You know the boys in the sports dept have a running bet
When??™s the next time they get upset?
We need dirty BU laundry
Some don??™t really want to know what??™ going on
Some don??™t really want to know just how far its gone
They tell us to just leave well enough alone
They don??™t need any dirty BU laundry
Dirty little secrets
Dirty little lies
We got dirty little fingers writing outrageous story lines
We love to cut BU down to size
We love dirty BU laundry
We can do the Innuendo
If JL dances and sings
When its all said and done he hasn??™t told us a thing
We all think ISU is King
Give you dirty BU laundryBUilding for the Future

I defy anone who is concerned the PJS is unfair to BU in their basketball reporting to think that after reading the stories by DR and KW following the Utah debacle.
KW -"OK, if you remain at a loss, check out the university’s (Utah) alumni website, which also points out the “official definition” of “muss” indicates a state of disorder, confusion or chaos. "This game had the appearance of all three, although I think the confusion and chaos on Bradley’s part was more by Utah’s design."
I guess KW has decided to take a break from writing the bad cop stories about BU MBB that will upset the faithful.BUilding for the Future

Actually, the PJS itself is profitable, but it's parent company Gatehouse is who's in the red. What part of illegal don't you understand?

But it's different now...especially with our products. The demo is aging all the time. We use to have people bring in the paper with our ads all the time...not so much now since the web has taken over. We spend a third of what we use to and spend much more online now and I'm thinking of dropping out all together....but I'll still read it everyday.....now none of my kids
(in their 20's) will ever pick up a paper

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
